The Ottawa 67’s Hockey Club is very fortunate to have amazing Billet Families, but we are always accepting applications from interested persons and families as our billet needs vary from season to season.

The 67’s Billet Family Program plays a significant role in the team’s success, and each player’s experience in Major Junior hockey, and beyond. Our Billet Families are special people who open both their homes and hearts to our players, and we the utmost care to ensure they are placed in healthy environments, where both the players and the Billet Families are compatible.

We are currently placing most of our players in the Central Ottawa area.

We ask that Billet Families treat each player like a member of the family.

We also expect that each player respects the rules of their Billet Family and the rules of the hockey club.

What we look for in our Billet Families:

A player must have his own room, with a double-size bed or larger (with bedding), closet space, and a desk/table and chair.
Internet access
Access to a washroom (can be shared) and laundry facilities.
Completed Police Check of billet parents and any other children living in the home – Ottawa Police Record Check Level 3 Vulnerable Sector.
Healthy breakfast and/or lunch to be available for the player to make or take with a warm dinner
Parking
Availability for the duration of the season – from late August (Training Camp) to April (or May if the team advances to the Memorial Cup).

What we DO NOT expect from our Billet Families:

To drive players to the rink/school/events
Book any appointments
Store or wash any hockey gear at your house

THE BILLET FAMILY WILL RECEIVE

A $550 monthly stipend (per player) to assist with additional costs (food, etc.)

Home game season tickets, including pre-season and all playoff games

An underground parking pass for each home game at TD Place parking
