Recap of the Draft week.

This week, the QMJHL draft was held in Chicoutimi. It was the time where all General Managers of QMJHL teams prepared themselves for the upcoming training camp, that will start in August.

We were treated to a few trades by the Titan and 14 new players were selected at the draft, here is a complete recap:

Trades (6):

• Marc-Olivier Brouillard, a 1st (8th overall) and 5th round draft pick in 2013, 2nd round draft pick in 2014, 2nd and 5th round draft pick in 2015 to the Gatineau Olympiques for Adam Chapman, Alexandros Soumakis, a 1st (16th overall), 6th and 7th round draft pick in 2013 and a 3rd round draft pick in 2015.
  
• Christophe Lalancette to the Drummondville Voltigeurs for a 1st round draft pick in 2014.
• 5th round draft pick in 2013 to the Halifax Mooseheads for Dominic Beauchemin and Joel Blanchard.
• 1st round draft pick (16th overall) to the Val-d’Or Foreurs for a 1st round draft pick (14th overall)
• 6th round draft pick in 2014 to the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles for no compensation.
• 5th round draft pick in 2013 from the Drummondville Voltigeurs for no compensation.

A total of 7 forwards, 6 defensemen and 1 goaltender were drafted by the Titan this year.
