Introducing Vladimir Kuznetsov

The Acadie-Bathurst Titan are proud to select Vladimir Kuznetsov of Yekaterinburg, Russia first overall in the 2015 CHL Import Draft.
Born on February 18, 1998, the 17-year-old left-winger is listed at six-foot-two and 190 pounds.
In 43 regular season games with Avto Yakaterinburg of the Russian Junior Hockey League (MHL) he scored seven goals and assisted on five more while incurring 12 penalty minutes. In five playoff games, he had two goals and two assists.
Vladimir also represented Russia at the 2014 World Under-17 Challenge, winning gold.
“We are very excited to select a player like Vladimir,” Titan general manager Sylvain Couturier said this morning after confirming the selection. “He is a big and strong winger with skill. Being 17-years-old, it fits exactly with our age group. The future is continuing to look really good for our organization.”
As shown in the photo, he will wear the number 98 for your Titan this fall.
Welcome to the Titan family, Vladimir!
