Difficult weekend
The Titan had a difficult weekend in Cape Breton, falling 7-0 on Friday and 7-3 on Saturday against the Screaming Eagles.
Friday, Cape Breton goalie Olivier Bellavance-Roy earned his second straight shutout, stopping 30 Acadie-Bathurst shots. Titan netminder Antoine Tardif allowed 7 goals on 40 shots. Of note: the Screaming Eagles scored 4 of their 7 goals on the power play.
Saturday, the Titan led 3-1 before seeing Cape Breton storm back with 6 unanswered goals. Tommy Legault faced 30 shots. Once again, Cape Breton scord four goals on the power play. Tomas Svoboda (6), Dany Massé (7) and Tomy Joly (1) scored for Acadie-Bathurst.
The Titan will look to get back on the winning track this weekend as they host the Baie-Comeau Drakkar on Friday and the Halifax Mooseheads on Saturday.
