Congratulations to Sean Couturier

The Titan wishes to congratulate Sean Couturier and the Drummondville Voltigeurs for winning the President’s Cup, emblematic of the QMJHL championship for the 2008-09 season. The Voltigeurs clinched the championship by beating the Shawinigan Cataractes 3-2 in game 7 of the series on Tuesday night.

Sean, son of Titan General Manager Sylvain Couturier, wins the President’s Cup in his first year in the QMJHL.

Since the age of 10, he played in the minor hockey system in the Chaleur region, as well as a season with the Miramichi Rivermen of the NB/PEI Major Midget AAA Hockey League.
