Titan Notes:
The Titan are back on home ice this afternoon as they take on the Eagles for a third straight game. Acadie-Bathurst picked up two wins over Cape Breton on the road this week, 4-2 on Thursday and 7-3 on Friday.
Acadie-Bathurst is 7-3-0-0 in their last 10 games and have won five in a row. Friday’s game saw forward Dylan Andrews reach an important milestone as he scored his first career hat trick. The 17-year-old has 10 goals and 11 assists for 21 points in 46 games this season.
Eagles Notes:
Despite having lost three in a row and five of their last six games, the Eagles continue to put together respectable performances every night. In their two meetings with the Titan this week, Cape Breton was very much in the game until the third period on both occasions.
Czech forward Ivan Ivan continues to lead the Eagles offensively with 25 goals and 20 assists for 45 points in 43 games. The 19-year-old leads Cape Breton in goals and points.
