Titan Notes:
Winners of three straight, the Titan head to Sydney, Nova Scotia to take on the Cape Breton Eagles in back-to-back games. The last meeting between the two teams came on December 5th with Acadie-Bathurst picking up an 11-2 win.
Defenceman Miguel Tourigny will serve the final game of his three-game suspension tonight while captain Logan Chisholm continues to rehab an upper-body injury.
Eagles Notes:
The Eagles have lost three of their last four games however the one win was a big 8-2 triumph over the Chicoutimi Sagueneens last Thursday. Cape Breton sits 10th in the Eastern conference with a 12-26-4-2 record and are 4-5-1-0 in their last 10 games.
Cape Breton has added a number of new faces to their roster since they last faced the Titan. Forwards Carter McCluskey, Matis Ouellet, and Charles Savoie were acquired by the Eagles via trades while Slovak forward Peter Repcik signed with the team back on January 5th after playing the first half of the season with the Lethbridge Hurricanes in the WHL.
