Mooseheads General Manager Cam Russell announced this afternoon that forward Liam Alcalde has been traded to the Charlottetown Islanders for an 8^th round pick (Acadie-Bathurst) in the 2014 QMJHL Entry Draft.

Russell also announced the signing of 18 year old forward Brandon Vuic. The Waterdown, Ontario native is a 6’4” 215lbs winger who has played 27 games with the Topeka Roadrunners of the North American Hockey League.  Vuic has recorded 1 goal, 2 assists and 104 penalty minutes so far this season with Topeka.

The Mooseheads next home game is tomorrow night, January 3^rd when the Herd hosts the Charlottetown Islanders at 7pm.
