DND APPRECIATION NIGHT THIS FRIDAY
The Halifax Mooseheads have announced details of their 12th Annual DND Appreciation Night, taking place this Friday at 7pm as the Herd entertains the Chicoutimi Sagueneens at Scotiabank Centre.
This marks the eighth year the Mooseheads will wear specially designed jerseys for the game. These commemorative jerseys will be raffled-off during Friday’s game, while an online auction will be held for 3 more jerseys at a later date. Details regarding the online auction will be announced on HalifaxMooseheads.ca at a later date.
All proceeds raised from the jerseys will go directly to the QEll Foundation – Camp Hill Veterans Memorial Garden. To date, the Mooseheads DND Appreciation games have raised more than $100,000 to help better the lives of our Veterans at Camp Hill.
DND members and their families will again receive an exclusive discounted ticket price of $10 to this game which can be purchased at PSP through Stadacona. A Canadian Forces Flag party will be on hand to march out Canadian Forces dignitaries for a special pre-game puck drop. The Stadacona Band will also be at the event to perform the National Anthem.

The Mooseheads will also entertain the Baie Comeau Drakkar on Saturday night at 7pm at Scotiabank Centre.
Don’t forget to bring the whole family to the Mooseheads Fan Fest on Sunday afternoon from 2-4pm for lots of fun and games. The carnival-like event will feature bouncy castles, interaction with all the Mooseheads players, face painting, games and prizes. Fan Fest will be a hit with the kids and will take place at the World Trade & Convention Centre.
