Molson Canadian Hockey House

The action is even hotter off the ice at the Molson Canadian Hockey House! Serving as the official entertainment zone for the 2023 Memorial Cup presented by Kia, you can expect ten jam-packed days of live music, game viewing parties, DJs, leadership talks, and pre-game hot stoves. 

Fully accessible, family friendly and conveniently located directly behind the Sandman Centre, the Molson Canadian Hockey House will also be the official location for Memorial Cup merchandise.

Beginning Thursday, May 25 and running until the Memorial Cup champion is crowned on Sunday, June 4 – the Molson Canadian Hockey House will be the go-to place pre- and post-game through the 2023 Memorial Cup presented by Kia.

Thursday, May 25

The Canadian Hockey League (CHL) and the Memorial Cup Host Organizing Committee are proud to announce that the two-time JUNO award-winning rock band The Glorious Sons will kick off the tournament with The Riverside Party presented by Simpcw Resources Group on May 25 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for The Glorious Sons will start at $49.50 (plus fees & tax) and are available now.

Friday, May 26th

Gates Open at 3:30 PM

Hot Stove at 4:00 with Tom Gaglardi, Darryl Sydor, and Mark Recchi. The three Owners will discuss the purchase of the Blazers and the journey to this point over the past 15 years.

Hot Stove at 4:00 PM with Joe Calendino and Kevin Torvik. Listen to a gripping portrait of a notorious Vancouver gangster and Hells Angels elite who descended into a life of homelessness and addiction, ultimately redeeming himself through award-winning youth advocacy.

CH-All Day presented by Canruss Paramedic Oil Services

Gates Open at 3:30 PM

Hot Stove at 4:00 PM with  Greg Stewart. Stewart is a Canadian para-athlete who specializes in shot put. He represented Canada at the 2020 Summer Paralympics.

Ahead of puck drop, Bryant McBride will discuss The Carnegie Initiative for Inclusion and Acceptance in Hockey: Working to ensure that hockey is inclusive, supportive and welcoming to all. Bryant served as Vice President, New Business Development at the NHL – the first black executive in NHL history, where he oversaw the creation of international events and broadcasting, the initial NHL Diversity Task Force, rink development, and early digital initiatives.

Indigenous Day presented by Tk̓emlúps te Secwépemc

Gates Open at 3:30 PM

Hot Stove at 4:00 PM with Clara Hughes and Ethan Bear. Hughes will discuss her Olympic career coupled with mental health and addiction hurdles.

Indigenous Day Feature from 8:30 – 10:00 PM with DJ Shub. DJ Shub won the 2022 JUNO award for Contemporary Indigenous Artist of the Year, and previously won Breakthrough Group of the Year in 2014 (with A Tribe Called Red). He was also an Indigenous Music Award nominee at the 2018 Juno Awards for his PowWowStep EP, won a Much Music Video Award for Best EDM/Dance Video in 2017 and was shortlisted for the esteemed Polaris Music Prize Award in 2013.

Gates Open at 3:30 PM

Celebrate Western Day with Country Line Dancing lessons at 6:00 – 7:00 PM.

Hot Stove at 7:00 (5:00 if there is a tie-breaker) with Ken Hitchcock and Dallas Eakins. The two CHL and NHL Alumni will discuss their experiences in junior hockey and all the way to the Stanley Cup Finals.Continuing the discussion as CHL and NHL Alumnus is Kirk McLean and Mark Recchi.
