Seattle Thunderbirds Alumni Interview: Mathew Barzal

Former Seattle Thunderbird center Mathew Barzal was in Vancouver on Monday with the New York Islanders as they took on the Vancouver Canucks.

Ian Henry and Nicholas Kocan from the T-Birds went up to Vancouver for the Media Availability after the Islanders morning skate and joined the media scrum. Barzal answered questions on that night’s game against the Canucks, the news of NHL to Seattle, his time with the T-Birds, winning the WHL Championship and keeping in touch with teammates now playing professionally and those still with the T-Birds.
