VP Sports & Entertainment presents: Tigers forward St. Martin signs three-year, entry-level contract with Florida Panthers
Sunrise, Fla- The Florida Panthers have signed Medicine Hat Tigers forward Hunter St. Martin to a three-year, entry-level contract, Panthers General Manager Bill Zito announced Friday.
“Hunter is a skilled skater who has shown a tremendous amount of maturity and adaptability at a young age,” Zito said. “We are excited for him to take the next step in his career with our organization.”
St. Martin was drafted 193rd overall in the sixth round of the 2024 NHL Entry Draft and impressed with a pair of goals at the team’s annual Rookie Showcase.

The 6-foot-2, 185-pound forward has seven goals (including two game-winners) and one assist in eight games with a highly-touted Medicine Hat squad.
He’s coming off a breakout season that saw him light the lamp 24 times and pick up 28 helpers for 52 points and a +14 rating in the 2023-24 regular season.
The 19-year-old finished the 2024 WHL Playoffs tied for second in points on the Tigers with one goal and four assists in five games.
Selected by Willie Desjardins and company in the sixth round of the 2020 WHL Prospects Draft, the Edmonton, Alta. product cracked the 150-game barrier last week.
St. Martin and the Tigers are on the road to face the rival Red Deer Rebels on Friday, October 25 at 7:00 p.m. MST.
