Jecho joined the Oil Kings in 2023-24 after Edmonton called his name third overall in the 2023 CHL Import Draft.
The Zlin, Cze. product now has 48 career goals and 100 points in 110 WHL regular-season games.
St. Louis selected the towering forward with the 95th overall pick in the third round of the 2024 NHL Draft at Sphere in Las Vegas, Nev.
He’s hit a new level since returning from the 2025 IIHF World Junior Championship, where he picked up seven points (2G-5A) in seven games en route to a bronze medal.
Notably, Jecho scored the game-winning goal with 40 seconds left to eliminate Canada in the quarterfinals and an assist on fellow Blues prospect Jakub Stancl’s (Kelowna Rockets) game-opening goal against Sweden in the bronze medal match.
