Victoria Royals announce first 2025 WHL Playoffs home dates, tickets
Victoria, B.C.- The countdown is on for playoff hockey at Save-On-Foods Memorial Arena.
The Victoria Royals announced dates and ticketing information for Round One of the 2025 WHL Playoffs presented by Nutrien on Monday night.
Victoria (37-17-3-7, 84 points) is in the midst of one of its winningest seasons of the past decade.
The team will close out its final four games of the regular season on the road, highlighted by a Wednesday Night in the Dub freeview feature on March 19 and a set of road matches against Prince George (40-20-4-2, 86 points) that could determine the B.C. Division champion.
While their opponent hasn’t been locked in, Victoria has confirmed home-ice advantage in Round One.

Led by explosive veteran Teydon Trembecky (44G-38A, 82 points) and top 2025 NHL Draft-eligible forward Cole Reschny (23G-63A, 86 points), the Royals rank in the top six across the WHL in goals scored (253), fewest goals against (205) and powerplay percentage (28%).
The Royals are currently second in the B.C. Division and trail the Cougars by two points, though the Royals have two games in hand.
Victoria is fighting for its second B.C. Division title and first WHL Championship in franchise history.
The battle continues with a Tuesday night match against Kamloops (24-36-4-1, 53 points) that could eliminate the Blazers from playoff contention.
Puck drops at the Sandman Centre in Kamloops at 7:00 p.m. PST.
