Since being selected by Everett in the eighth round of the 2019 WHL Prospects Draft, Courtney has been a versatile force for the U.S. Division powerhouse.
He’s totaled 33 goals and 32 assists for 65 points and 862 faceoff wins in 185 regular season contests over four seasons- but his value isn’t just measured on the scoresheet.
Silvertips staff selected the Parker, Colorado native as the team’s Unsung Hero award-winner for the 2022-23 season and he was also named the WHL’s U.S. Division Humanitarian of the Year and a finalist for the Doug Wickenheiser Memorial Trophy for 2023.
Courtney and the league-leading Silvertips (15-3-1-0) hit the road this weekend for a tilt against the 2023 WHL Champion Seattle Thunderbirds on Saturday, November 16 at 6:05 p.m. PST.
