Chiefs defenceman Crampton commits to Bowling Green University
Spokane, Wash.- Spokane Chiefs defenceman Brayden Crampton has committed to Bowling Green University, the Chiefs announced Wednesday.
The 20-year-old is slated to join the Falcons for the 2025-26 season, upon the conclusion of his Western Hockey League eligibility.
“I’m super grateful and excited for this opportunity to play at Bowling Green for the 2025-26 season,” Crampton said. “Big thanks to my family, friends, coaches, teammates and the Spokane Chiefs for everything they have done along the way!”
Crampton, who clocks in at 6-foot, 173 pounds, has three goals and three assists for 16 points in 20 games this season, ranking in the top 10 in helpers and points among all WHL blueliners.
He’s added an impressive seven points in his last five outings, including a two-goal, two-assist night on November 5.
The Chilliwack, B.C. product was listed by the Chiefs in 2021 and has gone on to register 16 goals and 80 assists for 96 points.
Crampton recently scored the game-winning overtime goal in a 6-5 decision against the Kelowna Rockets in his 200th career WHL game.

Spokane (12-8-0-0) will host the Calgary Hitmen on Friday, November 15 at the Spokane Veterans Memorial Arena at 7:05 p.m. PST.
