Chiefs announce first home WHL Playoff dates, ticket information
Spokane, Wash.- The Spokane Veterans Memorial Arena has been one of the most formidable buildings in the West in the 2024-25 regular season.
With home-ice advantage locked up, the Spokane Chiefs look to carry that advantage into the first round of the 2025 WHL Playoffs presented by Nutrien with the announcement of dates for their first home games.
The Chiefs (43-19-1-1) are ranked second in the U.S. Division and third in the Western Conference as they close out their winningest regular season since 2012-13.
Spokane is on the hunt for its third Ed Chynoweth Cup after previously lifting the WHL’s top prize in 2008 and 1991.
Due to a building scheduling conflict, Spokane will begin Round One on the road against a yet-to-be-determined opponent, with Games 3 and 4 being held at the Veterans Memorial Arena:
Game | Date | Visitor | Home | Time |
3 | Wednesday, April 2 | TBD | Spokane | 7:05 p.m. PT |
4 | Thursday, April 3 | TBD | Spokane | 7:05 p.m. PT |
Individual tickets will go on sale on Wednesday, March 19 at 10:00 a.m. PST via spokanechiefs.com or by calling (509) 535-PUCK.
Washington Capitals prospect Andrew Cristall has helped push Spokane’s offence over the top with a CHL-leading 123 points (45G-78A) in 53 games.
Chiefs Captain Berkly Catton (Seattle Kraken) has become the fifth player in franchise history to record back-to-back 100-plus point seasons, while former WHL Champion and Memorial Cup contender Shea Van Olm is two goals away from becoming the first WHLer to 50 lamp-lighters this season.
Spokane is back in action on Saturday, March 15 when they host the Tri-City Americans (31-25-6-1) at 6:05 p.m. PST.
The Chiefs will also close out their regular season slate against the Americans on the road on Saturday, March 22.
