2026 WHL Playoffs: Clinching Scenarios – Wednesday, February 4
The Prince Albert Raiders are in full control of their playoff destiny.
The East Division powerhouse can become the first club to earn a berth in the 2026 WHL Playoffs on Wednesday night.
Prince Albert can punch a postseason ticket with:
- Any Prince Albert win of any kind versus Calgary; OR
- A Prince Albert overtime/shootout loss versus Calgary
Prince Albert (37-7-4-0) leads the Eastern Conference and sits second in the WHL’s overall standings with an impressive 78 points.
The Raiders will also try to qualify for the playoffs at the Art Hauser Centre, where they’ve posted one of the league’s best home records at 16-3-2-0.
Calgary (26-13-6-1) looks to build on the momentum of a dominant 7-1 win over the Saskatoon Blades on Tuesday night, which saw the Hitmen powerplay go 4/4.
The Raiders and Hitmen will clash at 7:00 p.m. ST.
