2025 WHL Playoffs: Clinching Scenarios – Tuesday, March 18

The final berth in the 2025 WHL Playoffs presented by Nutrien could be claimed on Tuesday night.

With four games each remaining on their regular schedules, it’s all come down to the Seattle Thunderbirds and Kamloops Blazers for the last spot in the Western Conference postseason field.

The Seattle Thunderbirds can clinch a berth in the WHL Playoffs with:

• A Kamloops loss of any kind versus Victoria

Seattle (27-33-4-1, 59 points) is currently in eighth place in the Western Conference standings and is idle on Tuesday night.

Kamloops (24-36-4-1, 53 points) is 10th in the West and needs a win against high-flying Victoria (37-17-3-7) to stay alive.

The Blazers look for a third straight win as they face off against the Royals in Kamloops at 7:00 p.m. PST.
