2025 WHL Playoffs: Clinching Scenarios – Friday, February 28
The Prince Albert Raiders can become the first East Division team to lock down a berth in the 2025 WHL Playoffs on Friday night.
The Prince Albert Raiders can clinch a playoff berth with:
- Any Prince Albert win versus Edmonton; and
- Any Red Deer loss versus Calgary
OR
- A Prince Albert overtime/shootout loss versus Edmonton; and
- A Red Deer regulation loss versus Calgary
Prince Albert is on a three-game point streak and is 6-3-1-0 in its last 10 games to sit first in the tightly-contested East Division.
Seattle Kraken prospect Lukas Dragicevic sits second in scoring among all defencemen with 63 points (14G-49A) and veteran Max Hildebrand leads all WHL goaltenders in save percentage (.917) while sitting third in wins (28) and shutouts (3).
The Raiders (33-19-4-1) are 2-1-0-0 against the upstart Oil Kings (32-22-2-2) this season.
Puck drops at the Art Hauser Centre at 7:00 p.m. ST.
In the Central Division, Red Deer (21-28-5-2) hosts Calgary (38-15-3-2) at 7:00 p.m. MST.
