2025-26 CHL Top-10 Rankings presented by Delta Hotels by Marriott: Week 8
The Canadian Hockey League (CHL) today unveiled its Week 8 edition of the CHL Top-10 Rankings presented by Delta Hotels by Marriott for the 2025-26 season.
The CHL’s top three remain unchanged for a second straight week. The Brantford Bulldogs (15-0-3-1) remain the CHL’s lone unbeaten team in regulation, extending their 19-game point streak while leading the league in virtually every major category — from goals per game (5.26) to power play efficiency (41.0%). In the WHL, Everett (15-1-2-0) continues to mirror Brantford’s dominance with a CHL-best 15 wins and a six-game point streak (5-0-1-0), powered by the steady play of Raiden LeGall in goal and Matias Vanhanen’s offensive surge. Rounding out the top three, Windsor (15-3-1-1) remains one of the CHL’s most balanced clubs, led by Liam Greentree’s scoring touch and Joey Costanzo’s consistency in goal — ranking among the OHL’s best with a 1.81 GAA and .918 save percentage.
Two WHL teams are climbing fast, as the Prince Albert Raiders and Edmonton Oil Kings continue their rise up the rankings. The Raiders (12-1-3-0) have points in nine of their last 10 and sit third in the CHL with an .844 points percentage, backed by rookie standout Michal Orsulak and top 2026 NHL Draft prospect Daxon Rudolph. Right behind them, the Oil Kings (14-4-1-1) have strung together five straight wins to stay atop the WHL’s Eastern Conference, led by Colorado Avalanche prospect Max Curran and 2026 NHL Draft prospect Joe Iginla. Meanwhile, the Drummondville Voltigeurs (12-4-1-1) make their first CHL Top-10 appearance of the season, entering at No. 10 on the strength of a CHL-best eight-game winning streak. Behind rookie goaltender Jan Larys and the offensive trio of Jesse Allecia, Maxime Lafond, and Renaud Poulin, Drummondville has emerged as one of the hottest teams in the QMJHL heading into mid-November.

CHL Top-10 Rankings – Week 8
1. Brantford Bulldogs (OHL): The Brantford Bulldogs (15-0-3-1) continue their dominant start to the 2025-26 season, holding down the No. 1 spot in the CHL Top-10 Rankings for a fifth consecutive week — the longest stretch by any team this season. The Bulldogs remain the only CHL club without a regulation loss, extending their remarkable 19-game point streak while leading the league in virtually every major category, including wins (15), goal differential (+50), points percentage (.895), goals per game (5.26), and power play efficiency (41.0%). Over the past week, Brantford went 2-0-1-0, falling 4-3 in overtime to Peterborough before defeating Oshawa 5-4 on the road and edging Ottawa 4-3 in a shootout at home. Top 2026 NHL Draft prospect Caleb Malhotra (8G-17A in 19 GP) extended his point streak to seven games and now sits 10th in OHL scoring, trailing only Saginaw’s Nikita Klepov (30 points) among rookie scorers. Cooper Dennis (10G-14A in 19 GP) scored in all three games last week, finding the net in four of his last five outings, while Seattle Kraken prospect Jake O’Brien (9G-28A in 17 GP) continues to pace both the OHL and CHL with 37 points. Meanwhile, Marek Vanacker (17G-7A in 17 GP) scored twice last week to pull even atop the CHL goal-scoring race with Lynden Lakovic (Moose Jaw Warriors / WHL) and Justin Carbonneau (Blainville-Boisbriand Armada / QMJHL). The Bulldogs will look to extend their impressive run this weekend when they host the Flint Firebirds and Brampton Steelheads on home ice.
Games this week: vs. Flint (Nov. 14), vs. Brampton (Nov. 15)
2. Everett Silvertips (WHL): The Everett Silvertips (15-1-2-0) continue their strong start to the season, ranking second in the CHL Top-10 Rankings for the third time in the past month after extending their point streak to six games (5-0-1-0). With a CHL-best 15 wins and an .889 points percentage — second only to Brantford (.895) — the Silvertips remain one of just two CHL teams, alongside the top-ranked Bulldogs, to have suffered one regulation loss or fewer in 2025-26. Everett has collected points in nine of its last 10 outings (8-1-1-0), including wins last week over Kamloops (4-3 OT) and Vancouver (2-0) following a narrow 5-4 overtime loss to Prince George. Finnish forward Matias Vanhanen (5G-25A in 18 GP) extended his point streak to six games, scoring in all three contests and climbing to third in WHL scoring with 30 points, one of only eight CHL skaters to reach that mark. Detroit Red Wings prospect Carter Bear (4G-8A in 12 GP) chipped in points in both victories to maintain a point-per-game pace, while goaltender Raiden LeGall turned aside all 20 shots on Monday to earn his CHL-leading 12th win and first shutout of the season, improving his save percentage to .920, tied for second in the WHL. The Silvertips now prepare for a busy four-game stretch, opening Tuesday at home against the No. 5-ranked Prince Albert Raiders before facing Tri-City, Portland, and Kelowna on consecutive nights this weekend.

3. Windsor Spitfires (OHL): The Windsor Spitfires (15-3-1-1) remain at No. 3 in the CHL Top-10 Rankings for a second consecutive week and have now been ranked among the top three in seven of the past eight weeks. One of just three CHL clubs to reach 15 wins this season, Windsor continues to sit alongside Brantford (.895), Everett (.889), and Prince Albert (.844) as the only teams boasting a points percentage above .800. The Spitfires extended their winning streak to three games last week, blanking Kingston 3-0 on Thursday before defeating Brampton 6-3 on Saturday. Goaltender Joey Costanzo earned his OHL-leading 11th win, now sitting one victory shy of the CHL lead; his three shutouts tie him for most in the CHL, while his 1.81 GAA and .918 save percentage rank among the OHL’s top five netminders. Los Angeles Kings prospect Liam Greentree (12G-9A in 12 GP) continued his torrid pace with back-to-back multi-point performances, giving him eight on the season. 2026 NHL Draft prospect Jean-Christoph Lemieux (7G-3A in 15 GP) broke through with his first career OHL hat trick against Brampton, while Philadelphia Flyers first-rounder Jack Nesbitt (6G-10A in 14 GP) posted a career-high five points (1G-4A) in the same contest and is now averaging a point per game. The Spitfires will look to stay hot this week as they host the Soo Greyhounds on Thursday before visiting the Guelph Storm on Friday.
Games this week: vs. Soo (Nov. 13), @ Guelph (Nov. 14)
4. Chicoutimi Saguenéens (QMJHL): The Chicoutimi Saguenéens (12-2-1-2) continued their impressive form, remaining fourth in the CHL Top-10 Rankings for the second consecutive week after extending their point streak to 10 games (8-0-1-1). Chicoutimi went a perfect 3-0-0-0 over the past week, outscoring opponents 14-4 with decisive wins over Baie-Comeau (6-0), Gatineau (4-2), and Baie-Comeau again (4-2) on home ice. The Saguenéens boast the best points percentage (.794) in the QMJHL and lead the entire CHL in fewest goals against (38) and lowest goals-against average (2.24). Anaheim Ducks prospect Maxim Massé (12G-9A in 16 GP) led the way, scoring in all three games to push his November total to eight points (4G-4A) in four games, averaging two points per outing. Thomas Desruisseaux (1G-13A in 12 GP) and Washington Capitals prospect Maxim Schäfer (6G-7A in 15 GP) both extended their point streaks to five games, while goaltender Raphaël Précourt continued his stellar start with two wins — including a 22-save shutout in Baie-Comeau. Précourt’s 1.74 GAA and .929 save percentage lead all qualified goaltenders across the CHL. The Saguenéens will look to keep rolling this week as they host Rimouski on Friday before welcoming the Newfoundland Regiment to the Georges-Vézina Centre on Sunday.
Games this week: vs. Rimouski (Nov. 14), vs. Newfoundland (Nov. 16)
5. Prince Albert Raiders (WHL): The Prince Albert Raiders (12-1-3-0) continue their steady climb up the CHL Top-10 Rankings, rising into the top five for the first time this season after improving to 7-1-2-0 over their last 10 contests and earning points in nine of those outings. Although the Raiders suffered their first regulation loss of 2025-26 on Saturday in a 6-2 setback to Tri-City, they had previously extended their season-opening point streak to 15 games with wins over Lethbridge (2-1) and Spokane (5-2). Prince Albert’s .844 points percentage ranks third in the CHL behind only Brantford (.895) and Everett (.889). Goaltender Michal Orsulak, an 18-year-old from Třemošná, Czechia, was named the Mary Brown’s Chicken WHL Goaltender of the Week after going 2-0-0-0 with a 1.50 GAA and .940 SV%. A first-round pick (46th overall) in the 2025 CHL Import Draft, Orsulak has been outstanding to start his WHL career, posting a 6-0-2-0 record with a 1.87 GAA, .918 SV%, and two shutouts, while ranking among the league leaders in GAA (1st), shutouts (T-1st), and save percentage (4th). 2026 NHL Draft prospect and Team CHL defenceman Daxon Rudolph (5G-8A in 16 GP) also continued his strong play with points in four of his last six games, including his third goal over that span. The Raiders will wrap up their challenging U.S. road trip this week with matchups against the No. 2-ranked Everett Silvertips, Portland, Seattle, and Wenatchee.
Games this week: @ Everett (Nov. 11), @ Portland (Nov. 12), @ Seattle (Nov. 14), @ Wenatchee (Nov. 15)
6. Edmonton Oil Kings (WHL): The Edmonton Oil Kings (14-4-1-1) continue to surge up the CHL Top-10 Rankings, climbing for the second consecutive week after extending their winning streak to five games with a perfect 2-0-0-0 record over the past week. The pair of victories kept Edmonton atop the WHL’s Eastern Conference standings, three points ahead of the No. 5-ranked Prince Albert Raiders, while the Oil Kings’ .750 points percentage trails only Everett (.889) and Prince Albert (.844) among WHL clubs. Edmonton opened the week with a 7-3 win over Red Deer before edging Medicine Hat 4-3 in a shootout on the road. 2026 NHL Draft prospect Joe Iginla (9G-7A in 20 GP) collected points in both contests and has now hit the scoresheet in five of his last seven games, while Seattle Kraken prospect Blake Fiddler (3G-11A in 18 GP) extended his point streak to four games, amassing six points over that stretch. Andrew O’Neill (9G-5A in 20 GP) rediscovered his scoring touch with goals in both outings and has now lit the lamp in five of his last eight games. Meanwhile, Colorado Avalanche prospect Max Curran (5G-16A in 18 GP) remained a consistent offensive force, registering his fourth straight multi-point game in the win over Red Deer. The Oil Kings will look to keep their momentum rolling this week as they head west for a three-game road swing through Kamloops, Victoria, and Vancouver.
Games this week: @ Kamloops (Nov. 11), @ Victoria (Nov. 14), @ Vancouver (Nov. 15)
7. Kitchener Rangers (OHL): The Kitchener Rangers (12-4-2-0) slipped one spot to seventh in this week’s CHL Top-10 Rankings after splitting their two games over the past week. Alongside Brantford (.895) and Windsor (.800), Kitchener remains one of only three OHL clubs with a points percentage above .700, having earned points in eight of their last 10 games (7-2-1-0). The Rangers opened their week with a strong 5-2 win over Saginaw, before dropping a 3-2 decision to Kingston despite outshooting the Frontenacs 33-26, including 15-5 in the third period. Tanner Lam (7G-9A in 18 GP) led the way in Kitchener’s victory, posting a goal and two assists for his fifth multi-point outing of the season. Nashville Predators prospect Cameron Reid (2G-13A in 16 GP) found the scoresheet in both contests and now has points in nine of his last 10 games, while San Jose Sharks prospect Christian Kirsch continued his stellar play in goal, making 20 saves against Saginaw to record his ninth win of the season. Kirsch has now won five straight starts and seven of his last eight, allowing two goals or fewer in seven of those games while maintaining a 1.99 GAA and .919 save percentage in 2025-26. This week, Kitchener will look to keep pace near the top of the OHL standings as they host the Soo Greyhounds on Friday before visiting the Guelph Storm — who, along with the Rangers, are finalists to host the 2027 Memorial Cup.
Games this week: vs. Soo (Nov. 14), @ Guelph (Nov. 15)
8. Blainville-Boisbriand Armada (QMJHL): The Blainville-Boisbriand Armada (12-5-3-0) have slipped in the CHL Top-10 Rankings for the fifth consecutive week, falling to eighth after dropping six of their last 10 games (4-5-1-0). The Armada went 1-1-1-0 this past week, falling 6-1 to Moncton at home before edging Shawinigan 5-4 on the road and later suffering a 3-2 overtime loss to the No. 10-ranked Drummondville Voltigeurs. As a result, Blainville-Boisbriand’s points percentage (.675) has dipped below .700, ranking them behind Chicoutimi (.794) and Drummondville (.722) among QMJHL clubs this season. Their recent struggles have been compounded by a string of injuries — Pittsburgh Penguins prospect Bill Zonnon is expected to miss 4-6 weeks after returning for just two games, while Philadelphia Flyers prospect Spencer Gill remains sidelined until February and Nashville Predators prospect Jakub Milota is not expected back until January. To make matters worse, Montreal Canadiens prospect Arseni Radkov left Saturday’s game against Drummondville, and his status remains uncertain. Despite the adversity, St. Louis Blues prospect Justin Carbonneau (17G-4A in 16 GP) continues to lead the CHL with 17 goals, while 2026 NHL Draft prospect and Team CHL defenceman Xavier Villeneuve (5G-19A in 20 GP) remains atop the QMJHL’s blueline scoring race with 24 points. The Armada will look to lean on their star power and depth this week as they travel to Rouyn-Noranda and Val-d’Or for a pair of road matchups on Thursday and Friday
9. Calgary Hitmen (WHL): The Calgary Hitmen (12-4-2-0) remain steady at No. 9 in this week’s CHL Top-10 Rankings after earning points in three of four games (2-1-1-0) over the past week. Calgary opened with a 4-3 overtime loss to Regina followed by a 6-2 setback in Moose Jaw, before rebounding with convincing wins over Swift Current (6-2) and Saskatoon (4-1) by a combined margin of 10-3. Alongside the No. 2-ranked Everett Silvertips, the Hitmen are one of only two WHL teams to win eight of their last 10 games (8-1-1-0). Pittsburgh Penguins prospect Kale Dach (10G-10A in 18 GP) was named the Sandman WHL Rookie of the Week after recording six points (4G–2A) in four games, including his first career WHL hat trick in Saturday’s win over Saskatoon. The 18-year-old from Fort Saskatchewan, Alta. leads the Hitmen in scoring with 20 points and shares the WHL lead with three game-winning goals, while posting seven multi-point outings this season. Harrison Lodewyk (4G-11A in 17 GP) was the only Hitmen skater to record a point in all four games last week, scoring in two of his last four, and 17-year-old goaltender Eric Tu continued his strong play, stopping 44 of 47 shots in back-to-back wins to improve to 6-1-0-0 over his last seven starts. Tu’s .922 save percentage ranks first in the WHL and fifth across the CHL. The Hitmen will look to extend their momentum when they return home to host the Saskatoon Blades this week at the Scotiabank Saddledome.
Games this week: vs. Saskatoon (Nov. 14)
10. Drummondville Voltigeurs (QMJHL): The Drummondville Voltigeurs (12-4-1-1) have surged into the CHL Top-10 Rankings for the first time this season, landing in tenth while riding a CHL-best eight-game winning streak. Since October 19, no team in the country has been hotter — Drummondville has won nine of its last 10 games, climbing within a single point of Blainville-Boisbriand for first place in the QMJHL’s Western Conference. Over the past week, the Voltigeurs extended their streak with a trio of convincing victories, outscoring opponents 12-4 in wins over Victoriaville (5-1), Saint John (4-1), and the No. 8-ranked Armada (3-2 OT). Czech netminder Jan Larys, selected 48th overall in the 2025 CHL Import Draft, has been a stabilizing force between the pipes, posting a 2.62 goals-against average and .914 save percentage through his first 11 starts — ranking fourth in the QMJHL among qualified goaltenders. Up front, American forward Jesse Allecia (8G-9A in 18 GP) and Maxime Lafond (4G-13A in 18 GP) share the team scoring lead with 17 points apiece, while Renaud Poulin (10G-6A in 18 GP) has found the back of the net seven times in his last eight outings to lead the club in goals. The Voltigeurs will look to extend their winning ways this week as they head east for a three-game swing through Moncton, Charlottetown, and Saint John.
