2025-26 CHL Top-10 Rankings presented by Delta Hotels by Marriott: Week 12
The Canadian Hockey League (CHL) today unveiled its Week 12 edition of the CHL Top-10 Rankings presented by Delta Hotels by Marriott for the 2025-26 season.
The Brantford Bulldogs (21-2-4-1) tightened its grip on top spot for a ninth straight week with wins over Kingston and North Bay, powered by 2026 NHL Draft headliner Caleb Malhotra, the OHL’s Rookie of the Week. The Everett Silvertips (23-3-2-1) stay at No. 2 for the fifth time in six weeks and eighth straight week in the Top 3, riding a perfect 3-0-0-0 run to a CHL-best 23 wins and .845 points percentage. The Edmonton Oil Kings (21-6-2-1) round out the trio, back in the top three for the first time since Week 1 on the strength of a four-game point streak, standout blue-liner Ethan MacKenzie, and World Junior-bound Czech forwards Max Curran and Adam Jecho.
The big movers just behind them come from the QMJHL, where the Moncton Wildcats (19-6-2-1) and Chicoutimi Saguenéens (18-5-2-2) continue to climb. Moncton made the week’s largest jump, up three spots to No. 7—its highest mark of the season—thanks to a nine-game point streak (8-0-0-1), a perfect 3-0-0-0 week, and a QMJHL-leading 19 wins, driven by Videotron Player of the Week Caleb Desnoyers and red-hot goalie Rudy Guimond. Chicoutimi nudged up to No. 5 for its fifth Top-5 appearance in seven weeks, sitting just one win back of Moncton while boasting the league’s best points percentage at .741. With Anaheim Ducks prospect Maxim Massé among the Q’s top scorers and Germany’s World Junior invitee Maxim Schäfer back on the scoresheet, the Saguenéens and Wildcats are emerging as the Q’s heavyweight tandem in the chase pack behind the CHL’s big three.

CHL Top-10 Rankings – Week 12
1. Brantford Bulldogs (OHL): The Brantford Bulldogs (21-2-4-1) tightened their grip on the No. 1 spot for a ninth straight week after knocking off Kingston 4-2 and routing North Bay 7-2, fending off pressure from a surging Everett squad. Fresh off captaining Team CHL at the 2025 CHL USA Prospects Challenge, top 2026 NHL Draft prospect Caleb Malhotra was named OHL Rookie of the Week for the third time this season after posting a goal and four assists in the two wins, and now leads all OHL rookies with 37 points (12G-25A) in 27 games with a plus-13 rating, including four multi-point efforts in his last five outings (5G-7A). On Monday, Hockey Canada named OHL scoring leader Jake O’Brien (11G-34A in 26 GP), defenceman Ben Danford (1G-14A in 22 GP) and forward Jett Luchanko (4G-18A in 16 GP) to its 2026 World Junior selection camp, while Czechia hopefuls Adam Jiricek (10G-19A in 25 GP), Adam Benak (15G-28A in 26 GP) and Vladimir Dravecky (5G-13A in 18 GP) give Brantford a franchise-record six players heading to national team camps. Even as they prepare to lose a half-dozen core pieces to the international stage, the Bulldogs will lean on Malhotra and OHL goal-scoring leader Marek Vanacker (24G-15A in 25 GP) to keep rolling as they visit Erie and Peterborough this week before a marquee home date Sunday against the London Knights at the TD Civic Centre.
Games this week: @ Erie (Dec. 11), @ Peterborough (Dec. 13), vs. London (Dec. 14)
2. Everett Silvertips (WHL): Riding a three-game winning streak, the Everett Silvertips (23-3-2-1) remain locked in at No. 2 in the CHL Top-10 Rankings for a second straight week, a position they’ve now held five times over the last six weeks and part of an eight-week run inside the Top 3. Everett opened its perfect 3-0-0-0 stretch with a tight 2-1 home win over Spokane, followed by a 4-1 road victory in Kennewick against Tri-City, before capping the week with an 8-2 dismantling of Vancouver. The Silvertips now own a CHL-best 23 wins and boast the top points percentage in the country at .845. Up front, 19-year-old forward Jesse Heslop (6G-17A in 24 GP), 20-year-old forward Zackary Shantz (12G-20A in 28 GP) and elite 2027 NHL Draft prospect Landon DuPont (3G-16A in 24 GP) paced the attack with four points apiece over the three victories; DuPont’s goal and two assists against the Americans marked his second three-point outing of the season, while Shantz extended his point streak to nine games, piling up 17 points (4G-13A) and seven multi-point efforts over that span. This week, Everett returns home to Angel of the Winds Arena for another matchup with Spokane before heading to Wenatchee for a date with the Wild at Town Toyota Center, likely doing so without Detroit Red Wings prospect Carter Bear, who was named to Canada’s training camp roster for the 2026 World Juniors on Monday.
Games this week: vs. Spokane (Dec. 13), @ Wenatchee (Dec. 14)
3. Edmonton Oil Kings (WHL): Riding a four-game point streak (3-0-1-0), the Edmonton Oil Kings (21-6-2-1) climbed to third and returned to the top three of the CHL Top-10 Rankings for the first time since Week 1. Edmonton picked up three of a possible four points last week, earning a 4-1 home-ice victory over the Red Deer Rebels before dropping a tight 4-3 overtime decision to the No. 4-ranked Prince Albert Raiders. With 21 wins on the season, the Oil Kings trail only the No. 2-ranked Everett Silvertips (23) among WHL clubs and are one of just seven CHL teams to reach the 20-win plateau. On the blue line, defenceman Ethan MacKenzie (10G-21A in 30 GP) continued his outstanding start by scoring his 10th goal of the campaign. On Monday, his performance in 2025-26 has helped earn him an invite to Canada’s 2026 World Junior selection camp. Up front, Colorado Avalanche prospect Max Curran (11G-24A in 28 GP) and St. Louis Blues prospect Adam Jecho (6G-16A in 27 GP) both secured spots on Czechia’s roster for the 2026 World Juniors and were among seven Oil Kings skaters to record two points across last week’s games; Curran extended his point streak to four contests with nine points (3G-6A) over that span, while Jecho has now hit the scoresheet in three straight and in six of his last seven outings, a run that includes three multi-point efforts. This week, Edmonton will look to keep its streak intact in its lone outing as the Oil Kings welcome the Brandon Wheat Kings to Rogers Place.
Game this week: vs. Brandon (Dec. 14)
4. Prince Albert Raiders (WHL): After an up-and-down 2-2-0-0 week, the Prince Albert Raiders (19-4-4-0) slipped one spot to fourth in the CHL Top-10 Rankings, marking the second straight week they’ve inched down the list amid a run that’s seen them drop three of their last five outings. The Raiders finished their week on a high note, though, rebounding with a 7-3 road win in Red Deer before earning a crucial 4-3 overtime victory over the No. 3-ranked Edmonton Oil Kings, a result that keeps them just three points back of Edmonton for top spot in the WHL’s Eastern Conference with three games in hand. Prince Albert continues to boast the WHL’s second-best points percentage at .778, trailing only the No. 2-ranked Everett Silvertips (.845). Fresh off a strong showing at the 2025 CHL USA Prospects Challenge, defenceman and top 2026 NHL Draft prospect Daxon Rudolph (10G-14A in 27 GP) led the way with a team-high six points (3G-3A) in four games and has now recorded points in four of his last five contests, including goals in three of those outings. San Jose Sharks prospect Max Heise (13G-7A in 25 GP) also stepped up, posting back-to-back two-point efforts (1G-1A) in both weekend wins after scoring against Medicine Hat on Wednesday, giving him five points over his last four games. This week, the Raiders face a demanding three-in-three stretch as they visit Swift Current on Friday, return home to host Lethbridge on Saturday, and then head to Saskatoon for a Sunday showdown with the Blades.
Games this week: @ Swift Current (Dec. 12), vs. Lethbridge (Dec. 13), @ Saskatoon (Dec. 14)
5. Chicoutimi Saguenéens (QMJHL): After banking three of a possible four points last week, the Chicoutimi Saguenéens (18-5-2-2) moved up one spot into fifth in the CHL Top-10 Rankings, marking the fifth time in the previous seven weeks they’ve appeared inside the Top 5. With 18 wins on the season, the Saguenéens sit just one victory back of the No. 7-ranked Moncton Wildcats (19) for the QMJHL lead, while continuing to own the league’s best points percentage at .741. Chicoutimi opened its week with a 4-1 home win over the Québec Remparts before dropping a wild 7-6 overtime decision to Baie-Comeau. Anaheim Ducks prospect Maxim Massé (21G-18A in 26 GP) kicked off December in dominant fashion, piling up six points (3G-3A) over the two games, including a five-point (2G-3A) performance against the Drakkar; now up to 39 points on the year, he sits among the QMJHL’s top five scorers and has been held off the scoresheet just once in his last 14 outings dating back to November 1. Newly named to Germany’s 2026 World Juniors roster, Maxim Schäfer (12G-11A in 25 GP) also found his stride, snapping a four-game drought with three goals and two assists across the Sags’ two contests. This week, Chicoutimi hosts the Saint John Sea Dogs at the Georges-Vézina Centre before heading out on the road for weekend matchups in Shawinigan and Drummondville.
Games this week: vs. Saint John (Dec. 11), @ Shawinigan (Dec. 13), @ Drummondville (Dec. 14)
6. Ottawa 67’s (OHL): After banking four of a possible six points last week, the Ottawa 67’s (21-7-1-1) slipped one spot to sixth in the CHL Top-10 Rankings, marking their first drop since debuting on the list in Week 9. Ottawa opened with a rare stumble, falling 4-1 at home to the Barrie Colts in just their second regulation loss over their last 11 games dating back to November 12, before rebounding with back-to-back wins over Peterborough (8-5) and Flint (3-2 SO). With 21 victories, the 67’s are tied with the No. 1-ranked Brantford Bulldogs for the OHL lead in wins and sit just two back of the CHL’s top mark held by the No. 2-ranked Everett Silvertips (23). Overage forward Cooper Foster (18G-14A in 30 GP) continues to drive the attack, following up a quiet night against Barrie with consecutive multi-point efforts and now ranking third in the OHL in power-play goals (8) and tied for second in game-winners (5). Behind him, 18-year-old centre Nic Whitehead (14G-15A in 29 GP) extended his breakout season with back-to-back two-point outings to remain second on the club with 29 points, while 17-year-old netminder Ryder Fetterolf continued his excellent form, turning in his sixth and seventh 30-plus save performances of the season to stay among the league’s top five in goals-against average (2.14) and save percentage (.922). The 67’s now head to Oshawa for a midweek tilt with the Generals before returning home Sunday for a marquee matchup against the No. 8-ranked Windsor Spitfires in the nation’s capital.
Games this week: @ Oshawa (Dec. 12), vs. Windsor (Dec. 14)
7. Moncton Wildcats (QMJHL): Making the biggest climb of the week by jumping three spots, the Moncton Wildcats (19-6-2-1) surged up to No. 7 in the CHL Top-10 Rankings – their highest position of the 2025-26 season – on the strength of a nine-game point streak (8-0-0-1) and a run that has seen them win 17 of their last 23 contests while earning at least a point in 19 of those outings since October 5. With 19 victories, Moncton now leads all QMJHL clubs in wins and has leapfrogged the Chicoutimi Saguenéens for first place both in the overall league standings and in the Eastern Conference. The Wildcats went a perfect 3-0-0-0 last week, defeating the Saint John Sea Dogs 7-4 and the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies 3-1 at home before capping the stretch with a 4-2 road win in Saint John. Their hot streak has been driven in large part by Utah Mammoth prospect Caleb Desnoyers (6G-16A in 16 GP), who was named the QMJHL’s Videotron Player of the Week on Monday after posting three goals and six assists in three games. Despite only debuting in late October following off-season surgery, the 18-year-old has 22 points in 16 contests and was also invited to Hockey Canada’s 2026 World Juniors selection camp on Monday. In goal, Detroit Red Wings prospect Rudy Guimond has been stellar, winning 11 of his last 12 starts since the beginning of November and turning aside 45 shots in the 7-4 win over Saint John and 31 more in the victory over Rouyn-Noranda last week; he now shares the CHL lead with 16 wins and ranks among the QMJHL’s top three netminders in both goals-against average (2.34) and save percentage (.924). This week, the Wildcats visit the Cape Breton Eagles before returning home to host the Halifax Mooseheads on Saturday at the Avenir Centre.
Games this week: @ Cape Breton (Dec. 11), vs. Halifax (Dec. 13)
8. Windsor Spitfires (OHL): After collecting three of a possible four points last week, the Windsor Spitfires (20-6-3-1) climbed one spot to eighth in the CHL Top-10 Rankings. Windsor turned heads over the weekend by going toe-to-toe with the defending Memorial Cup champion London Knights, first earning a 4-1 road win at Canada Life Place before dropping a hard-fought 3-2 overtime decision in the rematch the following night. One of just four OHL teams – and only seven clubs across the CHL – to reach the 20-win mark this season, the Spitfires sit second in the OHL with 20 victories, just one back of the No. 1-ranked Brantford Bulldogs (21), while their .733 points percentage is tied for the second-best mark in the league behind only Brantford’s .839 clip. On the back end, 19-year-old blueliner Anthony Cristoforo (4G-19A in 24 GP), Philadelphia Flyers prospect Jack Nesbitt (9G-13A in 21 GP) and defenceman Conor Walton (1G-7A in 30 GP) were the only Spitfires to record points in both games against London; Cristoforo, who is averaging just under a point per game, has hit the scoresheet in 10 of his last 12 outings, while Nesbitt has matched that pace with 15 points over his last 12 contests and Walton netted his first goal of the 2025-26 campaign. This week, Windsor heads east for a three-game road swing through Peterborough, Kingston and Ottawa, capped by a Sunday showdown in the nation’s capital against the No. 6-ranked 67’s.
Games this week: @ Peterborough (Dec. 11), @ Kingston (Dec. 12), @ Ottawa (Dec. 14)
9. Blainville-Boisbriand Armada (QMJHL): After dropping their lone game of the week, the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada (17-6-4-0) slipped two spots to ninth in the CHL Top-10 Rankings, despite extending their point streak to four games (3-0-1-0). In their only outing, the Armada fell 3-2 in overtime on home ice to the Rimouski Océanic, a result that came despite a dominant 55-21 edge on the shot clock. Even with the slight slide, Blainville-Boisbriand appears to have steadied things following a stretch in which they lost three of six, closing out November with three straight victories. The Armada’s 17 wins and .704 points percentage both rank third in the QMJHL, trailing only the No. 5-ranked Chicoutimi Saguenéens (18 wins, .741) and the No. 7-ranked Moncton Wildcats (19 wins, .732). Against Rimouski, St. Louis Blues 2025 first-round pick Justin Carbonneau (23G-9A in 23 GP) scored both goals and continues to light it up, averaging a goal per game and leading the QMJHL with 23 markers, just one back of Brantford’s Marek Vanacker (24) for the CHL lead. Fresh off the 2025 CHL USA Prospects Challenge, top 2026 NHL Draft prospect Xavier Villeneuve (5G-26A in 26 GP) also continued to produce, pushing his point streak to seven games with nine points (1G-8A) over that span; he now leads all QMJHL defencemen with 31 points, tied for seventh among CHL blueliners. This week, the Armada will look to build on their four-game point streak and climb back up the rankings with a pair of road games in Baie-Comeau against the Drakkar.
Games this week: @ Baie-Comeau (Dec. 12), @ Baie-Comeau (Dec. 13)
10. Flint Firebirds (OHL): After taking three of a possible six points with a 1-1-0-1 record last week, the Flint Firebirds (20-7-1-2) slipped a couple of spots to sit 10th in the CHL Top-10 Rankings. Flint’s three-game eastern road trip saw them edge 3-2 in Peterborough, respond with a 4-2 win in Kingston, and then fall 3-2 in a shootout to the No. 6-ranked Ottawa 67’s. One of just four OHL teams – and seven CHL clubs – to hit the 20-win mark this season, the Firebirds’ 20 victories are tied for second-most in the OHL, only one back of the No. 1-ranked Brantford Bulldogs (21). Their setback in Peterborough marked just their first regulation loss in 13 games, and they remain one of the hottest teams in the league with a 12-1-0-2 record over their last 15 contests. New York Rangers prospect Nathan Aspinall (18G-24A in 27 GP) continues to drive the offence, extending his point streak to 11 games last week (10G-12A over that span); his 18th goal of the season against Ottawa matched his single-season career high, while his 42 points already have him closing in on last year’s personal best of 47 and make him one of just four OHL skaters to surpass the 40-point plateau in 2025-26. On the back end, Anaheim Ducks prospect Darels Uljanskis (2G-5A in 10 GP) has provided a big boost since returning from an injury that cost him roughly 18 games, recording his first and second career multi-point outings within his first 10 OHL games before he departs again, this time to represent Latvia at the 2026 World Juniors. After wrapping up their four-game road swing, the Firebirds return home this week for a three-game set against the Guelph Storm, Kitchener Rangers and Sarnia Sting.
Games this week: vs. Guelph (Dec. 10), vs. Kitchener (Dec. 12), vs. Sarnia (Dec. 13)
