Alscher becomes the 143rd Winterhawk to play in the NHL!<\/p>\n<p>Alscher, from Kladno, Czechia, saw 19:28 of ice time over 25 shifts while recording two shots, one hit, and one block. In that span, Alscher amassed 66 points behind 22 goals and 44 assists. Alscher also played in 38 playoff games in Portland, scoring two goals and seven assists. He was also a key member of the 2024 Western Conference Champion Winterhawks team. The 16-year-old forward also saw action in all four playoff games.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this season, the Lugano, Switzerland native participated in the U17 Five-Nations tournament in Michigan. In four games he tallied three goals and one assist.<\/p>\n<p>The U18 Worlds are slated to begin on April 18 and run until April 24. Finishing the 2025-26 regular season in fifth place of the WHL with 93 points (37 G, 56 A), Weiermair played in 66 games with just 28 penalty minutes.<\/p>\n<p>The Portland standout is a fierce competitor and a dynamic player.
