Winterhawks Weekly: Hawks finish preseason campaign
The Portland Winterhawks hit the ice for their final preseason contests last weekend, taking on the Spokane Chiefs, Tri-City Americans, and Wenatchee Wild. Portland came away with 2-of-3 wins to finish off their 2024-25 preseason campaign with a record of 2-2-1-0.
Hot Hawks:
- Forward Ryan Miller tallied four points (1G, 3A) in three preseason contests this past weekend. He led the team in points and assists.
- Forward Tyson Yaremko registered one goal and two assists, including the game-winner in a 5-1 rout of the Tri-City Americans last Friday.
- Forward Carsyn Dyck also posted one goal and two assists, contributing to both Portland wins this past weekend.
- Forward Jordan Duguay found the back of the net twice, once against the Tri-City Americans and once against the Wenatchee Wild.

The Week Ahead:
The Winterhawks begin the regular season on September 20!
Portland faces off against the Kamloops Blazers at the Sandman Centre to open the regular season on Friday night. Puck drop is set for 7 p.m.
The Winterhawks head to Kelowna, B.C. on Saturday at 6:05 p.m. to take on the Rockets in Prospera Place. Tune in on WHL Live!
