GAME SUMMARY:
The Everett Silvertips started the scoring six minutes into the opening frame and added another halfway through the second for the two-goal lead. The Silvertips netted the empty netter with four seconds left in regulation for the 3-0 final.
“I was proud of our group. Not the outcomes, obviously, the last few games here, but I think we have no quit right now,” said veteran defenseman Ryder Thompson. “We’re playing good. I liked the first two periods, I think our game got away from us a little bit in the third, but overall, I didn’t think we had any quit in our game.”
