Celebrating 10,000,000 fans in Portland

Ten million fans!

Before the Portland Winterhawks dropped the puck on Friday, March 7 against the Seattle Thunderbirds, they welcomed their 10,000,000th fan inside the arena doors. The Winterhawk have been a staple in the Rose City since 1976 and the club has enjoyed numerous milestones from winning its first WHL Championship in 1982 to capturing its first of two CHL Memorial Cup Championships in 1983 to watching 134 players lace up in the National Hockey League. Thanks you for sharing those memories with us, Portland!

Now, the Winterhawks are preparing for their 14th consecutive trip to the WHL Playoffs which are set to begin the weekend of March 28 – 30, 2025.
