A proud third-year member of the Western Hockey League, the Wenatchee Wild are continuing a celebrated WHL legacy that dates back to Edmonton, Alberta in 1996, continuing in Cranbrook, British Columbia and Winnipeg, Manitoba. These are the ICE alumni, who are now also members of the #WildFamily, making news in American pro hockey this week:
NHL

SAM REINHART, 2010-15 (11 GP, 5-1-6) – Is within a goal of the 300 mark for his career, and finds himself on a three-game goal-scoring streak, starting with a power play marker last Thursday in the Florida Panthers’ 5-3 home loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins. His slap shot goal with 2:41 left in the first period was the eventual winner in a 3-0 decision Saturday against the Vegas Golden Knights, and Tuesday’s goal was the tying tally in a 3-2 shootout loss to the Anaheim Ducks.
