FLIGHT PATH – Warriors on the hunt for third win of the week
MOOSE JAW, Sask. – The Moose Jaw Warriors are on the road looking for their third win of the week this afternoon.
In Friday’s victory over the Lethbridge Hurricanes, Connor Schmidt and Landen McFadden notched a goal and two points each, while Ethan Semeniuk and Lynden Lakovic each tallied a goal.
Landen McFadden leads the Warriors with five goals and nine assists for 14 points through 12 games. Captain Lynden Lakovic leads the Warriors with 11 goals through 11 games played.
On Friday night, Head Coach Mark O’Leary officially surpassed Al Tuer to hold the record for most games coached in franchise history with 361. He is now 16 wins away from tying Tim Hunter for most wins by a head coach in franchise history.
Last night, the Brandon Wheat Kings shut out the Lethbridge Hurricanes with seven goals, including a hat-trick by Joby Baumuller. Jaxon Jacobson leads the Wheat Kings with three goals and 17 points through ten games played. Rookie Chase Surkan leads the Wheat Kings with nine goals through ten games played.
