GAME DAY PREVIEW: GAME 43 VS RED DEER

Medicine Hat, AB – Another all Central Division match-up as the Medicine Hat Tigers (27-13-2) welcome the Red Deer Rebels (23-13-1-4) for the second time this season. All in part of game five in the the six game in the season series with the Rebels Friday night at Co-op Place.

The Tigers have taken three of four thus far in the 2023-2024 season against the Rebels. The Rebels were triumphant in the the most match-up on January 5 in Red Deer by a 5-3 win. Medicine Hat’s last home encounter with the Rebels resulted in a 3-2 overtime win on January 2.

Both clubs are coming off mid-week wins at their home rinks, with the Tigers defeating the Swift Current Broncos 5-2 on Tuesday, while the Rebels snapped the Saskatoon Blades winning streak 5-4 on Wednesday. The Rebels and Tigers are going toe-to-toe in the Central Division standings, the Tigers are still atop the Central with a five point lead over the Rebels. It’s the start of a three-in-three weekend with the Tigers heading to Regina & Brandon after tonight’s game.
