GAME DAY PREVIEW: GAME 34 VS SWIFT CURRENT

Medicine Hat, AB – The Medicine Hat Tigers (22-9-2) close out the 2023 portion of the 2023-2024 WHL Season with a pair of home games starting Friday night against the Swift Current Broncos (17-14-1-2).

Both the Tigers & Broncos opened up the post holiday break with road victories in Red Deer & Lethbridge respectively. The Tigers sit nine points ahead of the Broncos for the top spot in the Central Division. Looking to even the season series with Swift Current as this will be the fourth of nine meetings left to go between the two rival clubs.

Medicine Hat took the season opener October 6 in Swift Current with an 8-7 OT win while the previous two games at the Innovation Plex saw the Broncos defeat the Tigers on November 14 & 29.

This will be the first home game for the Tigers against the Broncos, the last regular season game occurred on March 25, 2023 when the Tigers defeated the Broncos 4-3 to clinch the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference playoffs.
