Medicine Hat, AB – For the final time before the holiday break the Medicine Hat Tigers (20-8-2) look get back in the win column and win their 2nd straight against the Lethbridge Hurricanes (15-14-2) this week at Co-op Place Saturday Night.

The Tigers are coming off a 4-3 loss over the Calgary Hitmen Friday, and look to sweep this week’s games with the Hurricanes after defeating them in Lethbridge earlier on Wednesday 6-2.
Lethbridge will be looking for revenge after Wednesday and after a 5-2 loss at home against Regina on Friday, this all Central Division match-up could have some large implications down the road as Lethbridge starts the night in 8th place in the Central and in the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference. While the first place Tigers have some company in the division as the Red Deer Rebels have surged up the standings of late, now in 2nd with a gap of seven points standing between them and the Tigers.
The season series between the Tigers and Hurricanes is all square at 1-1. With both teams winning in their respective opponent’s buildings thus far.
