Oct. 25 Highlights: T-Bird 5, at Red Deer 4, SO

The T-Birds defeated the Red Dee Rebels 5-4 in a shootout Friday at Westerner Park Centrium. Simon Kubicek scored the shootout winner. Roddy Ross stopped all three Red Deer shooters in the shootout and made 32 saves in the game. Jared Davidson, Andrej Kukuca, Luke Bateman and Henrik Rybinski all scored in regulation. Zak Smith had two goals for the Rebels and Ethan Sakowich and Christopher Sedoff each had a goal. Ethan Anders had 36 saves.
