The T-Birds defeated the Everett Silvertips 5-4 in overtime in Game 2 of their first round playoff series Saturday, March 24, 2018, at Angel of the Winds Arena in Everett. Zack Andrusiak scored the overtime game-winning goal at 5:04 of overtime. Austin Strand, Sami Moilanen, Turner Ottenbreit and Mike MacLean scored in regulation. Liam Hughes had 45 saves for the T-Birds. Garrett Pilon had a hat trick for Everett and Martin Fasko-Rudas had a single goal. Carter Hard made 28 saves.
