The Portland Winterhawks defeated the T-Birds 6-3 February 29, 2020, at accesso ShoWare Center. Ryan Gottfried, Conner Bruggen-Cate, and Owen Williams scored for the T-Birds. Blake Lyda had 25 saves. Seth Jarvis scored three goals for Portland, Robbie Fromm-Delorme, Kishaun Gervais and Lane Gilliss each had a goal for Portland. Joel Hofer made 21 saves.
