The T-Birds came back from a three-goal deficit in the third period against the Tri-City Americans Friday, December 8, 2017, at accesso ShoWare Center to force overtime. The Americans won the game 6-5 in overtime. Matthew Wedman, Noah Philp, Nolan Volcan, Zack Andrusiak and Donovan Neuls had goals in the game.
