T-Birds sign forward from 2022 WHL Prospects Draft
KENT, September 8, 2023 — The Seattle Thunderbirds today announced the team has signed Brayden Holberton to a WHL Scholarship and Development Agreement. Holberton played his WHL draft season with East Kootenay Zone U15 AA and the 22-23 season with RINK Hockey Academy Kelowna U17.
“Brayden is a big, powerful forward who plays with strength and physicality”, said Assistant General Manager Jared Crooks. “In addition to his physical presence, he is adept at making small area plays and working the puck down low in the offensive zone. He has a solid frame and base to build on moving forward.”
