T-Birds Name Jared Crooks Skill Development and Video Coach
Crooks was Alberta Scout for team
KENT, October 24, 2018 — Seattle Thunderbirds general manager Bil La Forge today announced the promotion of Jared Crooks to Skill Development and Video Coach.
“We are excited to have Jared in this new position,” said La Forge. “The use of video to help develop player skills and opponent game plans is something we want to get the most out of. Jared’s technical know-how and on-ice experience are assets that will help us greatly.”
Crooks was previously an Alberta scout for the team. Prior to joining the team as a scout Crooks is the head instructor at the Mount Carmel Hockey Academy in Edmonton, a position he held for five years. He played five seasons at MacEwan University.
The T-Birds host the Kamloops Blazers on Friday at 7:35pm at accesso ShoWare Center. They travel to Vancouver to face the Giants on Saturday at 7pm.
Single game tickets are on sale online on the T-Birds website and at the accesso ShoWare Center box office.
The T-Birds are now taking orders for Flex-24 Ticket packages. Fans that purchase the 24-Flex Ticket Package will be able to select any available premium seat for any game, in any ticket combination, during the 2018-19 season.
