Silvertips lock into sixth seed, match up with Portland in Round One
EVERETT, Wash. — The Everett Silvertips have officially locked into the sixth seed in the Western Conference and will match up with the third-seeded Portland Winterhawks in the first round of the WHL Playoffs.

This is the seventh time in franchise history that the Silvertips have met the Winterhawks in the postseason, with each team having won three previous series. Their most recent encounter came in 2018, as Everett dispatched Portland in five games en route to their second Western Conference Championship title.
