Mike Murphy is entering his first season as head equipment manager of the Everett Silvertips. He spent the last six seasons as head equipment manager for the AHL’s San Jose Barracuda. He also was head equipment manager for the 2016-17 Commissioner’s Cup-winning Macon Mayhem of the SPHL.

Other head equipment manager experience includes Canisius College Golden Griffins hockey (NCAA D1, 2014-16) and the Buffalo Beauts professional women’s hockey team (2015-16).

Mike Murphy graduated from the University of New England in 2013, as well as earning a master’s degree in sports administration from Canisius College in 2016.

He is the fifth head equipment manager in Silvertips history.
