Keep it Classy on Valentine’s Day with the ‘Tips!
The birds are chirping, the sun is shining (well, occasionally) and love is in the air as Valentine’s Day is here! Whether you’re spending the day with that special someone or single and trying to ignore it, everybody loves a great hockey game between rivals! Dress up in your finest attire Saturday night at 7:05 pm for our Classy Valentine’s Day game between the Silvertips and the rival Seattle Thunderbirds.
Fans are encouraged to dress up for the occasion and enjoy the atmosphere at our third-annual “Classy Hockey Game” on Saturday as well. A photo booth at the suite entrance on the southwest corner of XFINITY Arena will be set up to snap pictures of fans in their fancy threads starting at 6:15 pm. Saturday’s game will feature a “couples popcorn special” of $2 for two small bags of popcorn and $5 for select beer in 12 oz cans.
We’ve also got Valentine’s date night ticket specials for couples AND a singles night package for the unattached!
Got a date? For just $60 you can get two lower-level (green) seats at center ice and FOUR drink vouchers good for draft beer, house wine, soft drinks or bottled water! That’s an $85 value!
Single and ready to mingle? $17 will put you in the upper-level (orange) singles section with other available bachelors & bachelorettes as well as a reusable green party cup and one drink voucher!
One place you won’t find love Saturday is on the ice as the Silvertips take on the Thunderbirds for the seventh time this season. Everett has won four of the six previous meetings between the teams this year and stands 11 points in front of Seattle in the U.S. Division lead. The last time the Silvertips played the T-Birds, the ‘Tips came away with a dominant 6-0 victory in front of a sold out XFINITY Arena crowd on Jan. 17.
