SWIFT CURRENT, Saskatchewan – Bryce Kindopp erupted with a two goal, two assist game, while Jake Christiansen buried a goal and added two assists in his season debut to help the Everett Silvertips crush the Swift Current Broncos in a 5-1 victory before 2,110 fans on Friday night in WHL action at Innovation Creidt Union iPlex.
Cole Fonstad also logged a three point game, and the front end of a pair of goals in 16 seconds. Conrad Mitchell added a third period goal and goaltender Keegan Karki logged 25 saves for the victory. Gage Goncalves logged three assists.
UP NEXT: The Tips continue their road trip tomorrow night at 6:05 p.m. PT (KRKO / Tips App) against the host Medicine Hat Tigers at Canalta Centre and return home for Teddy Bear Toss presented by Ace Hardware on Saturday, Dec. 14 against the Vancouver Giants, 7:05 p.m. in downtown Everett. Fonstad snuck to the base of the left circle and beat Isaac Poulter, five hole for a 1-0 lead at 3:01 and on the next shift, Kindopp rifled a snap shot from close range for a 2-0 advantage.
Kindopp then came right back to boost the lead to 3-0 on a breakaway, scoring glove side on Poulter for his 17th goal of the season on a lead pass by Gage Goncalves.

Christiansen then belted a one-timer to the back of the net, under the crossbar and set up by Fonstad to the right circle for a second period power play goal at 3:07 for a 4-0 advantage. Karki’s heaviest workload came in the second period with 12 saves, including a point blank stop on Hayden Ostir.

Jaxan Kaluski scored his fourth goal of the season off the rush in the third period, 4:16 in to break Karki’s shutout bit, but Conrad Mitchell corralled a Jake Christiansen lead pass to burst behind the defense and bury his third goal of the season for a 5-1 advantage at 7:43.
