SCHEDULE UPDATE: Silvertips postpone three games due to travel issues
EVERETT, Wash. — The Everett Silvertips, in coordination with the Spokane Chiefs, Tri-City Americans and the Western Hockey League, have postponed this weekend’s slate of games citing road closures and transportation safety concerns as a result of inclement weather in Washington state.
Out of an abundance of caution and in the best interest of the health and wellness of the players and staff, the Silvertips, Chiefs, Americans and WHL have jointly concluded to postpone the upcoming contests originally scheduled for Friday, Jan. 7 in Spokane, Saturday, Jan. 8 in Kennewick and Sunday, Jan. 9 in Everett.
Re-schedule dates are to be determined by the Western Hockey League in the near future.
Silvertips fans are encouraged to please hold onto your Jan. 9 home game tickets, as they will be valid for the rescheduled date. For other ticket credit options for the Jan. 9 postponed game, please contact the Silvertips Sales Office at 425-252-5100
