Prior to Saturday’s game against the Winnipeg Ice, North Puget Sound Carpenters Local Union #70 representative Don Sorenson recognized the September / October Player Of the Month award to Bryce Kindopp.  The Silvertips captain received 46% of the fan vote, edging out Gage Goncalves by just 18 votes.  Bryce finished the month of October tied for third in the league in scoring with 19 points and was tied for the league lead in goals (10).

Throughout the past 16 seasons, the Silvertips and the Carpenters Local Union have teamed up to honor one Silvertips player a month based upon his performance.  Each month during the regular season, fans are encouraged to log onto the Silvertips website and vote for the North Puget Sound Carpenters Local Union #70 Player of the Month.  The Silvertips player who receives the most votes each month wins a $100 CASH PRIZE courtesy of North Puget Sound Carpenters Local Union #70!
