Prior to Saturday’s game against the Prince George, North Puget Sound Carpenters Local Union #70 representative Don Sorenson recognized the January Player Of the Month award to Zack Andrusiak. Zack received 65% of the fan vote. Since being acquired by the Silvertips from the Seattle Thunderbirds. Zack has scored 23 points (10 goals, 13 assists) in only 22 games including 2 game winning goals.

Throughout the past 15 seasons, the Silvertips and the Carpenters Local Union have teamed up to honor one Silvertips player a month based upon his performance.  Each month during the regular season, fans are encouraged to log onto the Silvertips website and vote for the North Puget Sound Carpenters Local Union #70 Player of the Month.  The Silvertips player who receives the most votes each month wins a $100 CASH PRIZE courtesy of North Puget Sound Carpenters Local Union #70!
