ALUMNI REPORT: Hart shines for Philly, Wolf leads Heat to AHL playoffs
NHL
- When Carter Hart (2013-18) wins games, he wins them with flair. Hart has 13 wins for the Philadelphia Flyers this season, his most recent one on Mar. 20 in a 26-save performance over the New York Islanders. In games that Hart wins, he has a .953 save-percentage and a 1.63 goals-against average. Though the Flyers have been struggling this season, the 23-year-old Hart remains a bright spot.

- Connor Dewar (2015-19) and the Minnesota Wild have been surging. The Wild have won six in a row, rising to second in the Central Division with 17 games left to play. Dewar has been getting consistent minutes on Minnesota’s fourth line.
- Radko Gudas (2009-10) and the Florida Panthers are in hot pursuit of the Colorado Avalanche for the President’s Trophy. Florida has 44 wins and 94 points, sitting atop the Atlantic Division just four points behind Colorado with a game in hand. Gudas was a +1 in Florida’s most recent game, a 5-2 loss to Toronto on Mar. 27.
AHL
- The Stockton Heat, affiliate of the Calgary Flames, have set a franchise record for wins in a season at 39 and counting. Rookie head coach Mitch Love (2003-05) has led the team to the top of the Pacific Division and five points away from passing the Chicago Wolves for most points in the league- with five games in hand on Chicago.
- Backstopping the Heat is Dustin Wolf (2017-21), winner of seven of his last eight games. Not only that, Dustin Wolf has also set the Heat’s record for points by a goalie in a single season by registering his third assist of the year on Mar. 22. He really can do it all!
- Heat captain Byron Froese (2008-10) has four goals in his last eight games, giving him 17 on the year. Eetu Tuulola (2016-17) has three goals and four assists over his last 10 outings for Stockton.
- Gage Goncalves (2018-21) continues to rack up points for the Syracuse Crunch. The former second-round pick of the Tampa Bay Lightning has netted five goals with two assists over his last eight games, bringing him to 15 goals and 26 points on the year.

- Noah Juulsen scored on Mar. 9 to give him three goals and 15 points in 40 games with the Abbotsford Canucks.
- After nearly six weeks on the sideline, Cole Fonstad (2019-21) returned to the Cleveland Monsters’ lineup and picked up an assist in his second game back. Fonstad has 12 points in 30 games played with the Columbus Blue Jackets’ AHL squad.
- Jake Christiansen (2015-20) has points in 10 of 12 games for the Cleveland Monsters since returning from his NHL call-up with the Columbus Blue Jackets. He has five goals and nine assists in that stretch, giving him 40 points in 51 AHL games played this season.
- Garrett Pilon (2017-18) helped spur a Hershey Bears comeback on Mar. 26, netting the first of three unanswered goals to pick up an overtime point against the Hartford Wolfpack. Pilon remains one of the top scorers on the Washington Capitals’ farm team, posting 34 points in 47 games played this year.
- Wyatte Wylie (2016-20) picked up his 13th assist and 17th point of the season with an assist on Mar. 26 for the Lehigh Valley Phantoms (Philadelphia Flyers affiliate).
- Bryce Kindopp (2015-20) has been a consistent driver of offense for the San Diego Gulls this season. With three goals and two assists over his last eight games, he now has 25 points in 54 games with the Anaheim Ducks’ affiliate.
- Montana Onyebuchi (2016-18) has shot up to fourth in the AHL’s leaderboard in penalty minutes, as he picked up his 12th fighting major of the season on Mar. 26. Onyebuchi has a goal and six assists through 36 games in his first pro season with the San Jose Barracuda.
ECHL
- Patrick Bajkov (2013-18) is tied for 13th in the ECHL in scoring with 59 points in 61 appearances with the Flyers’ affiliate Reading Royals.
- Orrin Centazzo (2016-18) is scoring at a point-per-game clip for the Newfoundland Growlers (Toronto Maple Leafs), racking up 47 points in 45 games.
