Royals Trade Carter Dereniwsky to Lethbridge in exchange for 2025 Draft Pick
Victoria, BC – The Victoria Royals announced today that the club has traded 2004-born forward Carter Dereniwsky to the Lethbridge Hurricanes in exchange for an eighth round draft pick in the 2025 WHL Prospects Draft.
Dereniwsky appeared in 76 games with the Royals between 2020 and 2023 where he registered 10 goals and 13 assists for 23 points.
Prior to his time with the Royals, the product of Canora, SK. played in the SMAAHL with the Yorkton Maulers and Saskatoon Blazers.
Dereniwsky was selected by the Royals 39th overall in the 2019 WHL Prospects Draft.
