Royals Recall Seth Badry & Roan Greschuk
Victoria, B.C. – The Victoria Royals announced today that they have recalled 2009-born goaltender Seth Badry and 2010-born defenseman Roan Greschuk from the St. Albert Raiders for the rest of the 2025-26 season.
Badry, who hails from Stony Plain, A.B., was originally selected in the fourth round, 75th overall in the 2024 WHL Prospects Draft. He appeared in 3 games with the Royals prior to joining the St. Albert Raiders, and in 17 games in the AEHL U18 league, the 16 year-old goaltender had a .926 sv% and a 2.34 goals-against-average while completing 2 shutouts. Badry, a late-birthday 2009 goalie, is NHL draft eligible in 2028.
Greschuk, hailing from Sturgeon County, A.B., was drafted by the Victoria Royals 19th overall in the first round of the 2025 WHL Prospects Draft. In his draft season last year, Greschuk scored 46 points (14 goals, 32 assists) in 31 games. This season, his first at the U18 level, he scored nine points (three goals, six assists) in 20 games. Greschuk is NHL draft eligible in 2028.
