Royals Reacquire Wyatt Danyleyko & Two Draft Picks in Exchange for Kash Alger-East
Victoria, B.C. – The Victoria Royals announced today that they have re-acquired forward Wyatt Danyleyko, a fifth-round pick in 2026, and a fourth-round pick in 2028 in exchange for Kash Alger-East.
Hailing from Sooke, B.C., Danyleyko appeared in 44 games with the Royals during the 2024/25 season where he scored two goals and seven assists for nine points. Danyleyko was selected by the Penticton Vees in the WHL Expansion Draft, before being re-acquired by the Royals. Danyleyko, who stands at 6’2 and 174lbs was originally drafted in the sixth round, 123rd overall by the Royals in the 2022 WHL Prospects Draft.
Alger-East, who hails from Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan, spent the 2024/25 season with the Battlefords Stars U18 where he scored 29 goals and 27 assists for 56 goals. Alger-East appeared in one game for the Royals this season.
