Recap: Royals (3) @ Americans (1) – Game 3, Round 1 – April 1st, 2025

Kennewick, WA. — The Victoria Royals and Tri-City Americans faced off for game three of their first-round matchup tonight at the Toyota Center in Kennewick.

 

After a scoreless first period, Seth Fryer put the Royals up 1-0 at 9:30 of the second frame, assisted by Wyatt Danyleyko and Escalus Burlock. Just over two minutes later, Tri-City tied the game at one on a goal from Brandon Whynott. The teams remained knotted at one after 40 minutes of play.

 

Justin Kipkie restored the Royals lead at 6:11 of the third period, with a power play goal assisted by Kenta Isogai and Cole Reschny. Brandon Lisowsky scored on the Americans empty net to seal the 3-1 win for the Royals and take a 3-0 series lead.
