Home Opener BBQ presented by Save on Foods surpasses Fundraising Goal

Victoria, B.C. – The Victoria Royals Foundation proudly partnered with Save-On-Foods Store Managers, Ross Prendergast (Fort & Foul Bay) and George White (Westside Village), for our Home Opener on Friday, September 19th, in support of the Victoria Hospital Foundation.

With 4,551 fans in attendance, the event raised $1,265.85 in cash donations through the Save-On-Foods BBQ activation in the Plaza. All proceeds directly benefited the Victoria Hospital Foundation, a charitable partner of Island Health dedicated to funding vital medical equipment, caregiver education, research, and special projects at Royal Jubilee and Victoria General hospitals.

This initiative reflects the Victoria Royals Foundation’s ongoing commitment to supporting health and wellness across our community.
